"When you decide after living somewhere your whole life, the most formative years of your life, that you can't take living in the environment you've always called home, you may feel like you've betrayed the people who you've always known to be the fixtures in your life. Maybe you wanted to write a letter to them to say that you feel like you're running away and that you're sorry if they see it as that as well. Maybe they can understand that your idea of friendship is to let people be who they are and still appreciate them and you hope that they understand and don't take offense because staying where you'd always lived was wearing you down."
Sorry I didn't get a chance to see everyone in person one last time before I go. Hope everyone enjoys the rest of summer. I doubt I'll have much internet access in Brighton. Call me. Come down and visit etc etc etc etc.
